PTT has developed a unique study programme consisting of a series of interactive online courses, tutor support and online assessment. This page describes what you get when you purchase the programme:
PTT has over 20 years of experience in delivering high-quality online training to the telecoms and ICT sectors. PTT delivers all course content through self-paced e-learning courses which offer large amounts of interactivity to immerse you in the training.
Each course consists of several modules each of which has an accompanying multiple choice online assessment. These end of module assessments help you by testing your knowledge and providing feedback when you give an incorrect answer. The results of these assessments are recorded but do not count towards the award of your certificate.
After you have registered for the study programme you will be given access to all 7 courses (5 core and 2 specilisation) through our Learning Management System. You will be give a unique username and password along with a study guide which recommends the sequence that you study the courses. Access to the courses will be given for 12 months and the courses can be re-visited at any time during that period.
To ensure you are getting the support that you need while you train, you will be given access to a nominated online tutor who can offer support and answer questions on the topics covered. All tutor support queries will be answered within two working days.
The award of an NCFE certificate depends on the successful completion of two online examinations, one at the end of the core programme, the other at the end of the specialisation programme. The online assessments are accessed at a time agreed with PTT and are time limited.
What am I awarded at the end?
Upon successful completion of both online assessments you will be awarded a certificate issued by NCFE. This certificate indicates that the qualification you have obtained is an Award at level 3, and identifies your chosen specialisation.
